Ryan Delane is a historic racing competitor and photographer with 15 years (more than half of his life!) invested in his passion for vintage racing automobiles.  After persuing a college degree less than a mile from Daytona Speedway, he apprenticed to Rainer W. Schlegelmilch in Germany, studying the most advanced motorsport photography techniques under one of the World’s foremost Formula One photographers.  Delane is also known for driving historic cars, from his own Austin Healey Frogeye (owned from the age of sixteen) to racing his father’s historic Tyrrell Formula One cars, among other things.  He has raced and photographed historic and professional racing events around the world in places like Indianapolis, Daytona, Watkins Glen, Monaco, Le Mans, Goodwood, Monza, Pau, and the Nuerburgring.  Delane was honored to be a participant in the 2003 Monterey Historic and as the pace car driver for the 2004 Monterey Historic.  A regular contributor to Vintage Motorsport, the finest historic racing publication in the United States, Delane resides in quiet Redondo Beach, and considers Laguna Seca to be his home track.
